Appearance
This article has gone through peer review before (see archive). However, I am wondering if there are further ways to improve this article to featured status. In particular, I am wondering about images since half the images have questionable copyrights. Pentawing 21:03, 9 August 2005 (UTC)
- If you want the article to make featured status, the images Image:Pan Am 707.jpg, Image:Clipper in Santo Domingo.jpg, and Image:Clipper ORION III.jpg need to have source and copyright information given, or the images need to be removed from the article. Image:Clipper ORION III.jpg is almost certainly from promotional materials from 2001, but this needs to be verified. The image Image:Pan Am 747 LAX.jpg needs to have its source indicated so the copyright status can be verified. --Carnildo 22:42, 9 August 2005 (UTC)
- I contacted the people who uploaded the images and hope to hear from them soon. In the meantime, I was wondering where I could find fair use images and GFDL licensed images. Image:Clipper ORION III.jpg is indeed from a promotional material for 2001 (an artwork by Robert McCall). However, I can't pinpoint a source since the image is everywhere. - I noted the source of Image:Pan Am 747 LAX.jpg, replaced Image:Pan Am 707.jpg with another image which I am claiming fair use, and removed Image:Clipper in Santo Domingo.jpg. I am still awaiting information concerning Image:Clipper ORION III.jpg, which I still can't locate the source. Pentawing 03:42, 14 August 2005 (UTC)
- I found an image of the 2001 movie poster and used that to replace Image:Clipper ORION III.jpg. Pentawing 02:07, 17 August 2005 (UTC)
