Misc. Discussion

[edit]

I understand the relevance of the last sentence on Home Churches but I can't see the need for the HomeChurch.org link, especially as it is duplicated on the House Church page. Unless anyone here objects I will come back in a few days and remove that link. Danthompson

Done. Danthompson

Dude, add it back :) it's all good ginkworld

There's a typo within the main text, but I don't really know how to fix it. When I click the hyperlink [edit] button, i only have access to the links, nothing else. So, whoever has the power to edit the main body, this is for you...

the sentence --

"While every individual experiences his or her own unique journey through this deconstruction process."

should/could be changed to--

"Each individual experiences his or her own unique journey through this deconstruction process."

ok, hope this helps,

ok, it works now...

I just tried one last time to edit the Emerging Church article and viola! it actually let me do it. Kinda weird; I don't understand why it did not let me do it before.

I'm also trying to get the feel of how to use these various features in this Wiki deal. I don't know how to do what Dan Thompson did in terms of leaving a hyperlink in his comments. I also notice in the history section how some of the editors where identified in this way, but my edits as well as several others just had a number. Is there some way that we could leave our names?

Bruce

To get your name to show up in the Edit History for a page, you need to sign up with Wikipedia for an account. There should be a "Log In/Register" button at the top-right of your screen (or something to that effect; I'm logged in ATM, so I can't see it). Otherwise, it logs everything under your IP address (the numbers you mentioned). But if you mean the hyperlinks in the articles, I really suggest going through the basic walkthrough. Click on "Help" there in the left column, then "Modifying a Wikipedia page" in the ToC that comes up, then go through the Tutorial (first link in that section) --WestonWyse 19:38, 7 Feb 2005 (UTC)
