- There is no such thing as Polish mythology. Poland was born at the moment the age of mythology ended, the phenomenon was most surely a part of Slavic mythology.
- The name is definitely not Western Slavic, not to mention Polish. It's most likely some barbarised Russian term.
- This article should really be revised by someone who has some info on the topic
