Leeds Railways
[edit]Can't quite make my mind up where to ask for help for these: Airedale line, Caldervale(needs moving), Dearne Valley line, Hallam line, Harrogate line, Huddersfield Line(either need to move this one or all the rest), Leeds-Bradford line, Penistone line, Pontefract line, Wakefield line, Wharfedale line, York & Selby line The articles are stubs, but I would like them to be laid out in tables, which I don't know how to do; ideally with an article on the station(if appropriate) and an article on the city/town/village(s) served by them. Also it would be improve them greatly if someone could write/add to history sections. -- (attributed to User:NicholasJones)
- Does the addition of Template:Britishmainlines fill this request? If not, what sort of tables you were thinking of, exactly? Wikipedia:Help wanted appears defunct, so I'm moving this here for your attention. Talk:Rail transport in Great Britain might be a good place to ask for help in formatting these articles. -- Beland 02:35, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)
The template helps, however it is not what I was looking for. Particularly since another contributor has put the names of Closed stations in, the lists of stations and junctions need arranging into tables, like the tables used in, for example List of Olympus products.--NicholasJones 17:36, 30 May 2005 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Olympus mju III wide 100
[edit]The article Olympus mju III wide 100 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A search for references failed to find significant coverage in reliable sources to comply with notability requirements. This included web searches for news coverage, books, and journals, which can be seen from the following links:
Olympus mju III wide 100 – news, books, scholar
Consequently, this article is about a subject that appears to lack sufficient notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Abductive (reasoning) 19:11, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Truprint
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Truprint, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 331dot (talk) 09:48, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
