"This article originally appeared on the now defunct Outcyclopedia website." Does that mean that it is copyrighted material? -- Samuel Wantman 00:57, 17 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The original author of the article and the founder of Outcyclopedia, James P. Moore, transferred the article here himself in 2005 right before Outcyclopedia shut down. So the article has been properly released under a free license by its original author. Outcyclopedia was mostly a personal project of James Moore and only had about 370 entries before it shut down. I'm going to remove the mentioned notice from the article, as no one knows what "Outcyclopedia" is (the name is now used by an unrelated YouTube channel) and the notice will only cause confusion.
