Boneyard
[edit]I deleted the reference incorrectly joining "bone yard" and "skeleton crew." A boneyard is a place where equipment, vehicles, aircraft or vessels are stored while being cannibalized "to the bare bones" for parts to keep other equipment running. 68.178.65.194 22:58, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
redundant?
[edit]"Recycling is another option as in the case of the Ghost Fleet of San Francisco the boats of which are set to be stripped of their paint, cut into pieces before being recycled."

Merge with In ordinary?
[edit]This article and in ordinary seem to be the same topic. I would recommend merging if I was more knowledgable in this area. Since I am not, I am placing this post here and a similar one on the talk page of the other article. Hopefully somebody else who is more confident in their knowledge could chime in at some point.
