Categories
[edit]Aloha. I'm not sure there is a need to duplicate categories. I don't think we need to list comedians in their regional (subcat) and in the main category. I'll look into this a little bit more and get back to you. IMO, it's best to keep them in the regional category (i.e. U.S. Comedians) since that's already a subcat of Comedians. --Viriditas | Talk 21:55, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Understood. I started because there was already a random assortment of comedians on the Culture->Comedy->Comedians page, so I added more for completeness. But taken to the extreme, it could be a maintenance headache. On the other hand, people perusing comedians might not have a specific region in mind (ie. US. or U.K? for example), and just want to be exposed to a representative sample. If there were an objective criteria for only listing an appropriate subset of all comedians under the main category (ie. most influential), that would be great. But, alas... If it is decided to remove Category:Comedians (for individual comedians), I'll help revise.Chad.netzer 22:23, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)
