Mokus joined Wikipedia on 17 November 2004.

I was born in England and have lived there most of my life, the last ten years in London, mostly in Shoreditch and Dalston. I have occasionally lived abroad, in Toulouse in France, and Szeged, in Hungary. I currently divide my time between Montmartre and Dalston.

I have spent much of my adult life at various universities mostly as a student but occasionally as a tutor, and more recently a web site editor. Most of my paid employment since 1995 has been related to the World Wide Web, though I occasionally work as a proof reader and translator in other media, and I used to cook and tend bar for a living. I currenly work freelance, which is nice.

Mókus means squirrel, among other things, in Hungarian.
