[edit]well done! Perhaps we should link it into a few categories (or do we need to invent a new one??)), so people find it? Linuxlad 19:53, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Bambi
[edit]Is it just me, or coincidental similarity, or did Disney use a variant of this tune for "Love is a song which never ends" in Bambi sammy (talk) 15:35, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Spelling consistency
[edit]I think that perhaps we need to take a bit of care with the name of this song. Thus far the article gives three spellings:
- Westron Wynde: which seems to have been the original spelling;
- Western Wind: the modern English translation;
- Westron Wind: in the underlay from Philips' programme notes, and the name of the movement from the Stravinsky Cantata.
There are also references to other musicians' versions of the song, but without giving their versions of the song's name.
Given this article's title, I propose that references to the song should use the Westron Wynde form unless they are to a particular version of the song that has been given a different form of the name. It may also be useful to find out the forms used by the other referenced but unnamed versions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kay Dekker (talk • contribs) 13:27, 11 January 2010
