Hideo

Hideo Noguchi did not die in the US (though he is buried there--in NYC), he died in Ghana.

Did Noguchi discover the syphillis cause in 1911 or 1913? There is a discrepency in the article.

The selection commitee for the Nobel Prize in Medicine received multiple nominations in nine different years -- in 1913, 1914, 1915, 1920, 1921, 1924, 1925, 1926, and 1927. I've not quite figured out how to incorporate this information within the body of the article:

Noguchi was Christian

Hideyo Noguchi was Christian. I have been to the museum in Japan and can confirm it. It even says so on the website used in this article to support the claim that his religion was unknown. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.20.72.81 (talk) 22:04, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What about his marriage?

Granted, I'm sleepy, so I might have missed something, but besides his early life and the photo of their headstone I couldn't find mention of his wife. I did search the article for "Mary," his wife's name on the tombstone, but came up with nothing. Sorry that I can only pose the question at the moment.
