The list has a serious WP:OR issue. Where is the citation to classified newspapers into Pro-democracy, Localist, Financial? Also, some newspaper can be both Financial and Pro-Beijing. Matthew hk (talk) 14:07, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
User:DZ-NYU-2020 is repeatedly adding Asia Environmental Daily to the list. This does not appear to be a genuine publication, but one of countless similar spam websites that simply copies content from elsewhere in order to generate ad revenue. All "stories" on the site are links to other publications. The "Editorials" are similarly copy-and-pasted from elsewhere on the Internet (example: "editorial", apparent source material from genuine newspaper "Dawn" with different author listed). I also don't see any connection to Hong Kong. User:DZ-NYU-2020 likened the site's content to that of Yahoo News, but Yahoo News is a news aggregator, not a newspaper, and also wouldn't belong on this list. This user has been blocked in the past for spamming links to similar websites, and so I suspect this is either a case of undeclared paid editing, or simply an inability to identify genuine journalistic publications. In either case, "Asia Environmental Daily" does not belong here. Citobun (talk) 08:43, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
