Her most famous role was probably that of "moocher's girlfriend in the movie "Breaking away,(1979)." Breaking. . away is a film about 4 boys who have just graduated from high school(the boys are played by Dennis Quaid, Dennis christopher, Daniel stern and jack haley,jr.) In the film Dave stoller (dennis christopher) fantasties about breing an italian bicyclist. His friends develop an idea forhim to enter the little 500, a bicycle race in bloomington,IN. tThe race has
many contestants, among them some local fraternity boys who do not like the town's people and refer tothem as "Cutters."
The plan is for Dave Stoller to enter the race with his friends, but have dave ride his bicycle all the way. Dave get shurt during the race, and theother team members (who are not as physically fit as dave is for riding the bicyle. Dave doies win the race and Moocher (Jack hale
